The full-time University Student Affairs Coordinator serves as a member of the University Student Affairs team providing assistance to all WesternU student clubs and the Student Government Association (SGA) for co-curricular programs and student services. The Coordinator provides financial support management for class and club organization account balances ensuring accurate accounting and University policy compliance. The Coordinator is responsible for USA communication and marketing This position reports to the Director for University Student Affairs.

1. Strong written communication, verbal communication and interpersonal skills that enable the employee to interact effectively with administration, faculty, staff, and students.
2. Excellent computer skills enabling employee to provide support to department using technological tools such as Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft Sharepoint. Experience with office equipment such as copy machine, multi-line telephone, and fax machine highly desired.
3. Ability to prioritize and successfully complete multiple duties while paying close attention to detail.
4. Skilled in making decisions with sound judgment.
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree strongly recommended. AA/AS degree and 5+ years in Student Affairs may be considered in lieu of Bachelor’s degree.EXPERIENCE: Three-five years of higher education experience or Bachelor’s degree in related field preferredCOMPUTER SKILLS: Excellent computer skills enabling employee to provide support to department using technological tools such as Microsoft Suite products, Qualtrics, and WordPress.
