The primary purpose of this position is to perform a variety of administrative support activities involved with greeting and screening visitors, screening and referring telephone calls, scheduling appointments, and providing support to the Dean, other CPM Administrators and the Executive Assistant of the College of Podiatric Medicine.
-This position jointly reports to the CPM Office of the Dean and CPM Office of Student Affairs and is supervised and evaluated by the Executive Assistant for the College of Podiatric Medicine.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Individuals must possess the knowledge, skills and abilities or be able to explain and demonstrate that the individual can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of skills and abilities.1. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to effectively interact with students, staff, faculty, administration and guests of the University. Excellent phone demeanor essential.2. Intermediate level in Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint and any other software program required for this position. Typing at 50 wpm.3. Working knowledge of common office machines (calculator, fax, copy machine, telephone system, etc.).
