Job Summary:
-Position incumbent will be relied on to provide accurate financial data, operational data and contribute to the development of various reporting tools necessary to carry out the mission of the Colleges and University. -Position provides administrative support to the ongoing operations of the College of Podiatric Medicine, the College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific and the College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific – Northwest as assigned by the Senior Director and Director of Operations of the College of Podiatric Medicine, the College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific and the College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific – Northwest. -Position reports to and is evaluated by the Director of Operations for CPM, COMP & COMP-Northwest.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
1. Ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively with diverse units and personalities within CPM, COMP and across the University. 2. Ability to maintain confidentiality is essential. 3. Expert level Excel user with the ability to create and manage complex spreadsheets. 4. Ability to use multiple computer programs as needed to accomplish essential job functions (Microsoft Word, Power Point, Outlook, etc). Experience with MS Project helpful. 5. Organizational skills necessary to prioritize workload to meet long and short-term deadlines. 6. Flexibility in job assignments to meet departmental priorities and emerging or unplanned initiatives 7. Ability to handle detail-oriented assignments with accuracy and consistency, with minimal supervision. 8. Excellent oral and written communications skills. Ability to interact effectively with administration, faculty, staff, and students is a top priority. 9. Advanced mathematical skills.
Required Qualifications:
1. Education: AA degree and/or combined experience/education as substitute for minimum education. 2. Experience: 3-5 years support staff experience in a large, high volume office setting. Preferred Qualifications:
1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Organizational Management or related field strongly preferred.
2. Experience: 5+ years support staff experience in a large, high volume office setting. Prior experience assisting with operations planning or budgeting.
