Job Summary:
The role of the Curriculum Support Associate for Curricular Affairs in the College of Pharmacy. The primary purpose of the Curriculum Support Associate is to enhance the effectiveness of the College of Pharmacy’s Office of Curricular Affairs by supporting its mission and goals. This is accomplished by ensuring that all day-to-day activities and projects assigned by the Associate Dean for Curricular Affairs are completed accurately and delivered when expected.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
The Curriculum Support Associate must possess the knowledge, as well as the following skills and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job. This can be accomplished with or without reasonable accommodation. 1. Good computer skills in order to set up document formats in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and any other software program required by this position; and have the ability to compose and/or proofread text / correspondence quickly and with few errors. 2. Good math skills, including the ability to use spreadsheets and required formulas. 3. Strong verbal and written communication skills. 4. Must be able to communicate effectively with college administration, faculty, staff and students. 5. Must be able to work and communicate effectively as a team member with other members of the college community.
Required Qualifications:
1. Education: Bachelors degree or Associate degree with related experience/education. 2. Experience: 3-4 years of administrative assistant experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelors degree and 3+years of experience - Experience working in an educational setting. - Experience working with student assessment. - Experience with ExamSoft or a similar electronic testing software. -Experience work with a learning management system.
List comments regarding work hours:
The working hours of this position are M-F 7:30 am to 4:30 PM. Overtime, evening, and weekend hours may be needed from time to time to meet the needs of the College.
