The Accounting Analyst’s main objective is to assist in providing management support and analysis of all of the University’s revenue sources. This position will also monitor and provide support to ensure that all departmental priorities, accounting and reporting requirements, and deadlines are being met.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Individuals must possess the knowledge, as well as the following skills and abilities or be able to perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of skills and abilities.
1. Must have solid accounting knowledge with creative and analytical skills.2. Skill with automated accounting systems. Computer literate with knowledge of spreadsheet and other accounting software applications. Knowledge with Banner system is a plus.3. Strong oral and written communication skills. Able to interact effectively with: students, faculty, staff, and other outside contacts.
1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field is required.2. Experience: Minimum of 2 years accounting experience.
1. Experience in higher education.2. Intermediate excel skills.3. Experience in fund accounting.4. 3 years accounting experience.

Standard office hours are 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Some non-standard hours are required during peak periods.
